In an extra-special, hour-long podcast, Dimity and Sarah offer advice and encouragement for gals running the Another Mother Runner Virtual 5K. They talk about the importance of getting a little goofy in a race, yet also fighting like a warrior to make a goal. Songs get woven into the mix, everything from One Direction to P!nk, Macklemore, Flo Rida, Alicia Keys, and Dimity’s fave, The Avett Brothers. Along the way, they cheer on Roz, Karen, Sharon, Jennifer, Connie, and a host of other mother runners gunning for the finish line. Go, girls, GO!

I just listened to the podcast during my easy run–decided when I got on my treadmill I’d do 6 miles because my daughter is 6. Miraculously, she didn’t wake up until I finished–and now I’m downloading a bunch of the songs so we can have a Mother’s Day dance party.
To D & S: I just ran a virtual 10k while listening to your podcast in honor of my mom, Esther, who is kicking cancer in BAMR style. Go Mom!!!
Did a 5 mile this morning and for the second time this week broke my average 10 min mile pace. The last run was 4.5 miles and 9:33 per mile and this morning was 9:43 per mile -and I finished so pumped I was actually singing Depeche Mode’s “Just Can’t Get Enough” out loud as I lapped around my ‘hood. I credit wearing my Badass Mother Runner ls tee this morning in honor of Mother’s Day! My boys always ask about my runs and were very impressed when I picked them up for lunch and an afternoon at the pool.
Great job Mich! You are my bestie & a BAMR. Your mom will do great & she is so lucky to have you. Happy Mother’s Day!

I loved that podcast last night! I did my run after my son fell asleep, and it was a great motivator to get out there and do it after 8pm. Do you have a list of the songs you played anywhere? I’d love to download some of them…but never have a pen handy when I’m listening.
Thank you so much for putting this together and for all the podcasts. I had a nice 4 mile run on mother’s day with this one.
Anyway you could list out the songs you played? I loves them and want to go download them!! I always love your podcast, but this was a fun change. Loved the preview of recommended songs so much!!
