Janet’s Minutes of Misery

“The goal of this workout is to run 1 minute intervals at 5k pace. What makes it hard is that your recovery between intervals gets progressively shorter. Even though the speed stays the same, it feels like it’s getting harder/faster because of the shortened recoveries. Also, If you’re not sure what your 5k pace is, choose a speed that gets uncomfortable after about a minute, but that you could maintain for about two minutes.”
