B is for bring-it! moms
Becky
Mother of: 3
I started running: to get rid of stress and do something for ME! Running has become my obsession. I have run many 5k, 10k, half and full marathons! I recently ran Ragnar and that was an experience of a lifetime.
Brandi
Mother of: 1
My last run was: indoors. The weather might stop me from running outdoors, but it certainly won’t stop me from running.
Bobbie
Mother of: 1
Running has changed: a lot after having my son. Now instead of a simple way to work out, it’s the only thing that keeps me sane.
Bridget
Mother of: 3 (can you guess which are twins?)
My last run was: with my dog. It is getting very hard to push the boys up hills with my jogging stroller. (They weigh 33lbs & 32lbs.)
Beth
Mother of: 1 daughter, 1 dog, 2 cats and 2 fish
For my first half-marathon: I followed a plan during the summer, but I once school started–I teach first grade–my running disappeared. I didn’t run ONCE the entire month of October. The morning of the race, in early November, I got up and thought to myself. D*&% it! I paid $35 to run this! So I ate a Powerbar, left and ran the entire thing without walking a step. I got home, showered, called my Dad, and then slept for 4 hours.
Bobbi
Mother of: 4
I started running to: get healthy in March 2010. To make sure I kept running, I signed up for the Chicago Marathon, which I completed on 10-10-10!
Brittany
Mother of: 1 boy, 2 beagles
Besides running and motherhood: My other addiction is my Vibram FiveFingers… and cupcakes.
