    If you have access to a college track you can sprint the straight and walk the turns. A tip from a coach I know well.

    On the road with street lights you can sprint the length of one then walk the next.

    Did this one last Tuesday, in paper it looked simple… half way into it I was ready to be done… three quarters into it: OMG I’ll die!

    1mi warm-up
    5 x 100m sprints, 100m recovery walk between
    Pyramid: 00:30,1:00,1:30,2:00,2:30,3:00,3:00,2:30,2:00,1:30,1:00,00:30
    Recovery intervals are 30sec shorter than the duration of the rep just completed
    1mi cool down
