Bari Fitzpatrick lives, runs, and blogs in Grandville, Mich. She and husband Mike have two teenagers, twins Kaylee and David, 16. For Bari, who completed a slew of races this summer, the best part about being a runner right now is mentoring other runners. She does this through the site Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans: "It’s my role to run the virtual Couch to 5K program, and I help out with the Run with the Sisterhood Facebook page."
Running skirt or capris? Either – it depends on the season. Mostly it’s skirts – the Relay Skort from Athleta is my current favorite. (I buy a tall even though I’m short so they are a bit longer)
Morning or night runner? Morning – it’s cooler and then the run is done before the business of the day starts.
Running-related pet-peeves: Not a fan of the snot rocket – won’t blow them and prefer others not blow them near me. I also hate shorts that ride up.
