ANOTHER
MOTHER RUNNER

Hump Day Giveaway: Saucony Spring (!) Outfit

Screen Shot 2014-03-04 at 5.58.41 PM
Hoods up: Spring is on its way!

With my brain full of random detritus (a sample from today: get frozen pancakes at the store, pick up dog piles in the yard before garbage man comes, remember how to ), I'm not certain about many things these days.

But there are two things I can say with certainty:
1. This winter, Mother Nature is definitely not a mother runner. She may run in other seasons, but something—an injured IT band?, a new baby?—has set her off. I cringe everytime I hear "6 to 8 inches of snow," even if the flakes are falling nowhere near me.

2. Nothing I love better than a good blue technical hoody. Screams spring to me. Could be the optmistic color, could be the multitasking abilities of it, could be that when I'm wearing it, I'm proclaiming I.don't.need.a.jacket.—and I'm flipping you a robin of a bird, Ma Nature!)

So we're thrilled to kick off our first Saucony giveaway of 2014 with The Transition Hoody, a dreamy, technical, lightweight hoody that wicks sweat capably, sports the necessary thumbholes and small pocket, and just yells for warmer temps and brighter days. (CAN YOU HEAR IT, MOTHER N.?) And at $55, it doesn't break the bank if you're, ahem, looking for a piece of running gear to reward you for getting through the Polar Vortex. Again. And again. And again.

You're going to need something to go under that hoodie, of course, and on your bottom half, unless you're looking to imitate the pantless runner parading around Portland. Saucony has you covered.

The Saucony Hydralite Short Sleeve: emphasis on lite, thank you very much.
The Saucony Hydralite Short Sleeve: emphasis on lite, thank you very much.

A workhorse of a tech tee, the Hydralite Short Sleeve, made from 50% recycled polyester, is a serious sweat wicker, as well as seriously flattering: the seams on the relaxed-fit tee do any body good.

Scoot along in the Scoot Capris.
Scoot along in the Scoot Capris.

The Scoot LX Capris are another perfect compliment to spring: long enough to keep most of your lower half covered, but short enough for your ankles to celebrate the fresh, crisp air. Made with an extra supportive Powerknit EX polyester/spandex blend and sporting a zippered key pocket and flattering waistband, the Scoots add mph to any forward motion.

So these three lovely pieces from Saucony's spring wardrobe will help a lucky, random mother runner spring into spring. In order to be entered to win, please fill in this blank in the comments below: When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a _______________.

[Some fine print for this mighty fine prize.] This sweepstakes is open to those over 18 and residents of United States and Canada. It begins on 3/5/14 and ends on 3/11/14; the winner will be announced on 3/15/14. One entry per person. The value of the prize is $135. The number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning. Void where prohibited by law.

  2. A warm morning where I have nowhere to be, and can just run for the heck of it– not for a certain mileage or pace goal!

  3. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than sweaty bands. Cute and functional! Wish I could wear them to work too!

  4. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a good ear warmer ( I mostly run 5Ks in the fall and winter!)

  5. When it comes to running gear there’s nothing I love more than a cute head band. I gotta keep this mess of hair outta my way.

  6. There is nothing I love better than my HEADPHONES! Music keeps me going – fast or slow, it’s my way of getting into my own little world where I can run forever.

  7. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than nice tight running pants or running skirt to keep my jiggly butt down to a minimum, so I can concentrate on my running and not be self-conscious!

p.s.going to go listen to your 100th episode now on my lunch run! xx

  8. There is nothing I love better than my running cap. I received it in a goodie bag a couple years back at my first 5k. Not much to look at anymore, but I don’t leave my house without it!

  9. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than anything with bright colors to motivate me and chase away the blahs.

  10. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than anything with bright colors that gets me out of the blahs!

  11. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a beautiful sunny day and comfortable running shoes.

  12. When it comes to running gear there is nothing I love better than a pair of compression tights that hold in the mommy pouch and tighten up the tush!

  13. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than … clothes that allow me to keep covered and keep my cool! After enduring multiple skin cancer surgeries, it is essential that my running clothes provide coverage from the sun with mesh in all the right places for ventilation AND pockets!

  14. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than actually loving and needing running gear since starting training a few months ago! It feels good to enjoy clothes that help me get fit!

  15. The front-attaching harness that gives me control of my sweet, wonderful, headstrong dog. I have company and he gets exercise.

  16. When it comes to running gear, there is nothing I love better than a comfy, neon greeen tech tee that moves right along with me! 🙂

  17. Pair of shorts that stays put! (Liners definitely help with this for me.) Also, a tank top that stays down without having to tuck it in to my shorts (nerd alert)…still haven’t found that yet but have switched to tees that seem to stay in place better.

  18. Than a shirt that moves just right with me, and it doesn’t hurt if it matches perfectly with my skirt or capris.

  19. My capris, because they keep my legs just the right temp without any of the chafe risk that comes with shorts.

  20. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a great, dry-wicking, cute, flattering, no-chafing singlet. It would be awesome if some one would design one with a pocket in the built in bra to hold my iPhone.

  21. When it come to running gear there is nothing I love more than when I show up for an early morning run and my running buddy is wearing the same outfit! We think the longer you run together the more you start to match. We’ve been running three years and are “twins” at least once a week!

  22. A good fitting pair of tights! I’ve never had the legs to wear actual running shorts, always compression shorts, capris or long leggings.

  23. When it comes to running there is nothing I love more than a good pair of shoes!!!! And then in close second a good outfit :0

  24. When it comes to running gear I love nothing more than my Boston Strong Bondi Band and a new pair of mizunos…. I feel unstoppable when donning these!

  25. When it comes to running gear, there’s nothing I love more then a perfect fit. I don’t like it when my clothes migrate to much.

  26. When it comes to running gear there’s nothing I love better than my Garmin! It keeps me on pace, and I always feel good knowing I have ran the distance and it’s all stored in my watch!

  27. When it comes to running gear…there’s nothing I love better than a cute sweaty band (that I can wear after running as well to pick up kids, grocery shop, etc. and not look like too much of a sweaty mess).

  28. When it comes to running gear, there is nothing I love better than a pair of Sacony Cortana 3s! For me they are like running on clouds.

  29. When it comes to running gear… there’s nothing that I love better than Garmin Forerunner 620! I’m a numbers gal and I never run without it! Love to see all my track longs from my runs!!

  30. My Ruu Muu running dress is my favorite! I wear it with compression shorts when it is warm out. When its cold I layer it with running tights, under armor cold gear shirt and a hoodie. The pocket for my phone and key is awesome.

  31. my music with a fun mix of 80s pop and 90s hip-hop…music I feel I can only justify listening to when I am running.

  32. A new attitude! These days I am waking up grumpy, and know I just need to get my a$$ out there, and the new attitude will come along for the ride.

  33. ……..a great fitting sports bra and headphones that fit correctly! I have the hardest time finding headphones I love!

  34. I love nothing more than a great long sleeve with thumb holes so I’m not fighting the sleeves riding up!

  35. When it comes to running there is nothing better than a comfortable, well-lined bra. If the headlights come on, I dont want anyone to know.

  36. i didn’t start running until after my second son was born about two and a half years ago. and the one thing that has been on EVERY single run of mine since then is a pair of saucony guides. (and to clarify: not the same pair.)

  37. When it comes to running gear, there’s nothing I love better than a stick of Bodyglide! That’s totally my running gear because I do not ever run without slathering it on!

  38. When it comes to running gear, there is nothing I like better than a bright colored shirt with a patterned pair of capris. I feel like I run faster when i look cute!

  39. I love a pair of running capris that has a zippered pocket that is big enough to hold my keys and my burt’s bees lipbalm! I’m so tired of capris that just have a tiny little flap that’s no excuse for a pocket.

  40. ….the perfect fitting shoe (and that’s not so easy to find for some of us)! AND a cute headband is always nice, just for fun.

  41. Nothing I love better than a great bra, I dont want the girls getting in the way. Also with this crazy winter must have my smartwool socks to keep my toes and feet comfy warm at crazy cold temps outside.

  42. When it comes to running gear nothing I love better than my running skirt(I need to replace cause I shrunk).

  43. When it comes to running gear, there’s nothing I like better than neon colors. Bonus if I can access the girls for nursing.

  44. A new pair of running shoes. My next pair of Nike Vomero 8s are waiting patiently in my closet for my current pair to wear out 🙂

  45. When it comes to running gear, there is NOTHING I love better that a great sports bra! Otherwise, “the girls” run their own race and get out of sink with me!

  46. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than calf compression sleeves. They make a world of difference in aching muscles.

  47. When it comes to running gear there’s nothing I love more than my 110% Juggler Knickers for recovery. Squeeze and Freeze baby! No more nausea-inducing, teeth chattering ice baths.

  48. When it comes to running gear; there is nothing I love better than capris that stay put, a pocket for my tunes, shades and an awesome BAMR partner!

  49. When it comes to running, there’s nothing I love better than the moment that I rip off my sweaty running clothes and realize just how damn hard I worked!

  50. When it comes to running, there is nothing I love better than some great tunes, which generally means some great 80’s rock!

  51. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than neon colors from shoes to tops and even hats. I like to be seen coming down the street, not because I look that amazing, but just for safety’s sake!

  52. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a long-sleeve shirt (especially a hoodie!) with thumb holes. Seriously. Thumb holes are completely brilliant.

  53. Lately …when it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than my fleece lined running tights! Can’t wait for spring though!

  54. When it comes to running gear there’s nothing I love more than capris that don’t give me ugly camel’s hoof!!
Just had to run before the sun came up so that I didn’t offend anyone!
Is there such a Capri that is Camel Hoof Free???

  55. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a XL size. I am larger, but I have such a hard time finding XL stuff.

  56. …nothing better than a “weather appropriate outfit (layers, long sleeves and snuggly, fleece lined running pants if it’s this winter, and an extra long tank to cover those last few baby lbs. with shorts that don’t chafe in the humid, Durham summers.)”

  57. reflective vest – since so many of my training runs have to take place on neighborhood streets when it’s still dark!

  58. There is nothing better than a comfortable pair of running shoes. It can be the difference between a long run and a short run.

  59. There’s nothing I love better more than a good sports bra! Keeps the girls in place where they’re supposed to be. 🙂

  60. When it comes to running gear, there’s nothing I love more than a shirt with thumbholes. (Though I’m longing for the days when I don’t need to wear sleeves at all… or 42 layers to keep out the arctic cold.)

  61. shoes! there is something almost magical about running in a new pair of shoes…. like you are running on clouds those first few runs.

  62. Nothing I love better than a shirt with thumbholes (what is it that makes those so incredibly awesome, anyway) and a nice pair of capris. 🙂

  63. Nothing I love better than my running capris and a colorful top that make me feel sleek and happy when I run.

  64. NOthing I love better than a running top/hoodie with thumb holes! Just enough coverage to keep my hands warmer in the transitioning temps and they look really cool too.

  65. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a pair of fleece-lined racing tights on cold mornings.

  66. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a – truthful story to my husband about how I won the gear rather than bought MORE! 🙂 ha ha

  67. I love tops with “room”. Gotta hide the muffin top since I can’t seem to run till it doesn’t jiggle. 🙂

  68. Nothing I love better than a race t-shirt that I have earned – as in, I worked really hard training for the race and i deserve to wear the shirt with pride!

  69. I have to start from the ground up, my shoes are the most important, as I have learned the hard way with injuries. I’m a sucker for a great fitted jacket or top, though. When clothes fit well, it helps you to feel that way, too!

  70. Nothing is better than a good pair of socks. I have found that if I use cotton socks I get blisters, hence I use my special drifit socks. They are amazing! They keep my feet feeling cushy and I am blister free. If the feet aren’t happy the runner isn’t happy!

  71. When it comes to running gear, there’s nothing I love better than a good bra. The girls must be contained!

  72. Nothing I love better than a bondi band to keep hair out of my face. I have very thick, long hair and wear it in a braid or two but two years ago went through a very stressful period in life and my hair thinned around the crown of head a result – a stress reaction I learned. Now as my hair has grown back in, it’s not long enough to tie back – hence the headband!

  73. nothing I love better than my most weather-appropriate head gear (love my warm winter hats and my cool summer visors)…but if it’s really cold, as long as i have my North Face mittens, I can take on anything!

  74. …my jogging stroller. I could run wearing almost anything, but if I didn’t have that stroller I wouldn’t be going anywhere!

  75. …a visor to keep the sweat out of my eyes and save myself from having to put sunscreen on my forehead!

  76. Nothing I love more than the right gear for the weather! I guess I’m still in a winter mindset (probably because it’s still freezing in NY) but him vesting in proper winter gear made it possible for getting outside for sweetens long runs.

  77. Nothing I love better than a great fitting running bra!!!!! Makes me feel like I can conquer the world!!!

  78. dog leash in my hand. I am getting use to running with my 6 month old puppy and vice versa. He stays cooped up in the kitchen and i have really noticed he loves to run with me. Most of the time trying to pull me along!

  79. …nothing I love better than my wireless headphones, so I can listen to the AMR podcast and other motivational podcasts during my “me” time! I love not having to worry about ripping the long cords while I’m removing layers and I love that the earbuds stay in my ears easier than regular headphones.

  80. There is nothing I love better than throwing on shorts and a tank top and going! No better, more free feeling. Sick of all these clothes!! Today I had 4 layers on and the right side of my chin still froze (don’t ask ;))

  81. Nothing I love more than a comfortable, SUPPORTIVE sports bra. If it was only one, even better! (Usually have to wear two for the perfect fit, TMI?)

  82. There’s nothing I love better than a complete set of running clothes, that are clean, and found in just one room of my house. Pure joy!

  83. When it comes to gear, nothing I love more (or leave home without) my road ID. When I leave for a run I tell my husband he better answer the phone if an unknown number calls because it may be the stranger who found me on the ground!

  84. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a good hat or cap(I wear one always – preferably with a long brim and high SPF!)

  85. This is easy…When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a great pair of running shoes that keep my feet blister free! 🙂

  86. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a bright colored moisture wicking top (thumbholes are an added plus in the long sleeves!)

  87. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than my running shoes. I had no idea how much a good pair of shoes would make a difference!

  88. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than my Garmin watch! it helps guide future runs when I can compare.

  89. When it comes to running gear, there is nothing I love better than a good sports bra. It makes the rest of the outfit work or not work and is the difference between a great run and a very uncomfortable run!

  90. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than bright colors and a sassy message on a shirt so I stand out among the other racers.

  91. When it comes to running gear there is nothing I love better than a compliment from another runner i.e. ‘cute skirt’ ‘fun shirt’, etc!

  92. When it comes to running gear nothing is better then running clothes that are comfortable, supportive, and let me tap into my inner goddess!

  93. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than combining super fun colors. My regular wardrobe has a lot of black white and grey. When I lace up, I can mix purple magenta and blue and feel awesome!

  99. When it comes to running gear there is nothing I love better than clothing that fits my full figured fit body!

  100. When it comes to running where I live in hot and humid Florida-there is nothing I love better than a tee or tank that wicks the moisture away!

  101. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a……race shirt that is both girl-cut AND tech fabric…but the are SO VERY RARE!

  102. When it comes to running gear, I love nothing better than NOT having to layer up to avoid frostbite! Mother Nature can suck it… SO over winter!

  103. when it comes to running gear there is nothing I love better than a tee that is long enough and doesn’t strain over the chest area.

  104. When it comes to running gear there is nothing I love better than something that screams,” I am totally girly.”

  105. My gps watch…..I can run in most anything as long as I have my watch (and I’m not a chronic watch watcher! I just feel naked without it!!!)

  106. Compression shorts of some kind (honestly, tri shorts are my fav) but also a great new pair of shoes that are right for ME 🙂

  107. I always enjoy a new outfit yet a pair of great fit running shoes to help keep my feet and legs healthy I love the most! I’ve dealt with PF and I hope to never again!

  108. Great fitting workout gear – whether they be for winter, summer, spring or fall. I love cute, fun, comfy gear!

  109. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a good breathable fashion statement that quietly shouts “I am a worthy mother and a stubborn runner!”

  110. A great running bra. I used to be a 38DD (in High School) and knew it wasn’t fair that they asked me to run the mile. It hurt, and it looked weird and it made me hate running – and believe I couldn’t do it!

Once I learned that there are bras out there, just for people like me, I had to give it a try…even if I had to double them up.

Today, there are so many options and I never have to feel like I can’t run because of the way my body was designed.

    Amen and Hallelujah!

Oh, and now, I’m hardly a C after a breast reduction and then 3+ years of nursing my sons…but I still feel as strongly about that bra!

  111. Iphone to listen to AMR podcast also so the kids can call if they need anything, plus quench gum for dry mouth.

  112. Pair of socks. There was actually a long run where I stopped at the store and bought new socks because the ones I was wearing were bothering me. Thankfully I was still pushing a kid in a jogger, or I’m not sure what I would have done with the other pairs.

  113. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a good friend to run the miles with…. And a shirt that breathes. 🙂

  114. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a supportive sports bra for the ample bust region.

  115. A running shirt that is long enough that I don’t have to worry about it riding up and flashing my belly (motherhood and a few bad race pictures have made me self-conscious). Bonus if the shirt has thumb holes.

  116. When it comes to running gear, there’s nothing I love better than a fun skirt. The right one looks good AND feels good!

  117. Nothing I love better than a pocket – or three! Need some place to stash the gel, the key, the random earring i forgot to take off…

  118. There is nothing I love better then a sweat wicking outfit that makes me feel confident so I just keep running!

  119. anything nice that was specifically made for running and was given to me! I’m too cheap to spend money on the good stuff!

  121. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a well fitting pair of capris…I think I run faster when I feel like my backside looks good ;).

  122. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than my water bottle holder. It can go over my shoulder or around my waist, and it can hold a larger water bottle than most that I’ve seen. I’ve had it for 10 years and haven’t seen anything else like it (plus it was only around $10!).

  123. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a matchy-matchy outfit. Never owned one, but I love ’em!

  124. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a a good pair of running shoes with dry fit socks!!

  126. The perfect pair of flattering capri running pants! They always make me feel like I should be on the cover of a running magazine. 😉

  127. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than my headband that keeps my sweaty bangs out of my face and it looks cute too!

  128. These days, I am fairly obsessed with shirts that have pockets in the middle of my lower back!! I LOVE being able to stash things there when I run!!

  129. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a comfortable pair of running shoes & an iPod full of ‘running music.’

  130. Pants/shorts that fit me! I’m in the process of losing lots of weight (yippie) and everything I have right now is too big or too small!

  131. A SPI belt! When (if) it gets warmer being able to fit phone and keys into a SPI belt and heading out the door means total freedom!

  132. When it comes to running gear, I love nothing better than my “Marine Mom” ballcap…as my son’s 6-minute miles inspire me (and makes me feel close to him when he’s on the other side of the world).

  133. Love my Nike half zip with its little built in hand warmer cuff things. Not too heavy but keeps my little fingers warm and cozy until I warm up from the run!

  134. pants that never ride down or bunch up! I buy running pants to be functional, so how come they so often aren’t??

  135. …a great pair of capris. Long enough to keep my booty covered and chafe-free, but short enough to keep me from overheating. I love them!

  136. When it comes to running gear, there’s nothing I love better than good shoes (nike lunar eclipse) and good socks (balega).

  137. When it comes to running gear, there’s nothing that I love better than my Saucony Guide 7s and my music! 🙂

  138. …a running dress! Oh, how I love me a cute running dress. Can’t wait to finally wear mine this spring and summer. I’m definitely a warm weather runner! Also – my Saucony shoes. I’ve been a faithful Saucony consumer since…well, I guess I’d have to say since 1995. 🙂
    -Casey

  139. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than Saucony gear to match my new Saucony Ride 6 running shoes!!

  140. A matching outfit. I run early morning in the darkness so I normally don’t care what I wear. Come the weekend, and sunlight, I love the feeling of looking like I came out of the running magazine!

  141. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a wicking shirt. Invaluable in summer and even winter!!

  142. … Anything that makes me feel stronger and skinnier! Good supportive running tights,a comfortable sports bra and lite shirt.

  143. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than bright colours. I look like a rainbow running down the street half the time.

  144. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a cutesy matching outfit—what can I say? I’m a wannabe fastinista!

  145. A good fitting outfit. Shrit must not be to tight or to loose. No tug on the pants, don’t want to stop running to pull up your pants.

  146. There is nothing I love (and need) better than a good visor for both the sun and my crazy hair. I can go for an early morning run and then go right into my kids school to volunteer and my hair is slightly hidden!

  147. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a stylish, comfortable top that is breathable in the summer heat!

  150. When it comes to running gear, there is nothing I love better than comfortable, non-chafing running gear. Bras that rub me in that weird spot under my arm or run skirts with funky sticky leg tape drive me insane. It’s great if it’s cute, but it must be comfortable.

  151. When it comes to running gear, there is nothing I love as much as something that looks pretty but still feels good at the end of a really long run. Especially if its something I don’t have to tug at or adjust!

  152. When it comes to running gear, there is nothing I like better than a new outfit to celebrate the first winter in years that I have kept a regular running schedule instead of hibernating like a sleepy bear!

  153. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than bright colors. I love colorful running gear: shirts, tanks, socks, hair ties, even my purple Garmin! A breath of spring for sure!

  154. I love nothing more than to get a nice beach run in….too long of a Midwestern winter!! A little over a week to spring break with my family in FL!!

  155. When it comes to running gear, I love nothing better than my Brooks Ravenna 4s…but I sure would enjoy some new running clothes !

  156. When it comes to running gear, there is nothing I love more then a good pair of shoes. My feet take care of me and carry me everywhere I run, so I need to take care of them.

  157. When it comes to running gear I love nothing better than an outfit that makes me feel confident and light– like I can run for miles unhindered and free. 🙂

  163. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a perfect pair of Merrells! (preferred running shoe: Merrell Bare Access)

  164. A smile (because I am remembering how lucky I am to be out there doing it!). And on days when I might not feel so lucky . . . my Asics Kayanos!

  165. When it comes to running gear there is nothing I love more than feeling as close to wearing nothing as possible!

  166. There is nothing I love more than a pocket in my pants or capris that fits my phone!! I stopped buying pants that don’t have a pocket or one so tiny only a key will fit inside.

  167. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a new pair of shoes! Love that fresh from the box feeling!

  168. A pair of shoes that are good to my feet. Every time I find them, the company changes them and they no longer work. I just want the magic shoes!

  169. When it comes to running gear,I love nothing better than when it feels like a second skin. Running is so much more than exercise, it’s a way of making it through life’s tribulations and coming back feeling exhilarated. Great running gear doesn’t get in your way. It simply motivates you to get there and do it again.

  177. … A comfortable pair of running shoes to go along with a comfortable and flattering outfit. You know the one that makes you look thinner and more muscular than you actually are but are working toward!

  178. …a sassy and fun running outfit! My husband teases me that I don’t purchase workout clothes, I purchase matching ensembles, LOL!

  179. A pair of capris that really fit! I’m 5’11” and those vented panels that are supposed to be on the back of your knees are always on the back of my thighs. Either that or they’re pulling down.

  181. Nothing I love better than a big group of BAMR’s to run with! If its 50 degrees and the sun is shining doesn’t hurt either.

  182. a good pair of sneakers. Everything else can be less than optimal but if your feet hurt, everything else gets thrown out of balance.

  183. have a huge weakness for running gear in general… but especially sweatybands head bands. So many cute designs to choose from and they are the only ones that stay put and help tame my curly do in the Georgia summer humidity!

  184. 10 year old pair of socks from my drawer that I keep wearing no matter how many other pairs I have purchased to try to replace them.

  185. …a waistband on anything (shorts, leggings, etc.) that don’t give me a muffin top and my Wright socks which are the best at preventing blisters.

  195. When it comes to running gear, nothing I like better than clothes that are so comfy I can keep running and running.

When it comes to running, I love nothing better than running behind a guy with a nice rear view.

  200. When it comes to running gear, nothing I love better than a great fitting pair of capris (with pockets that help to carry a bit o gear) and a shirt that makes me smile! Brighter the better!!!

  201. …cute pair of socks! I’m obsessed with Sock Guy running socks and my amazing husband got me ten new pairs for Valentine’s Day!

  202. A great top with pocket(s) that keeps me warm enough but not overheated, not too tight in the arms, not too long but not too short.

  203. Nothing I love more than a great fitting, comfortable, and good looking running top. I get a boost for my run when I feel good about what I am wearing!

  204. There’s nothing I love better than a brightly colored running shirt (tank, short sleeve or long sleeve). I run along a busy highway. I liked to be noticed thus not ran over. I don’t mind the waves and honks. The brighter the better!

  205. A cup of hot cocoa at the end! Sorry, still trying to thaw out today! My favorite gear are my Bondi compression socks. Super comfy, and sassy too!

  206. A cute tee! What I wear on the bottom half has to be high quality, but I really love a cute running tee. Only thing better would be a new garmin! 🙂

  207. Nothing better than an outfit that makes me feel good and confident about myself, regardless of of what other people might think. That confidence then spills over into my running!

  208. Cute running skirt with secret pockets. I’ve got these good birthing hips that amazingly pushed out four babies with a total of 6 pushes, now they’ve earned the right to look sassy!

  209. My hot pink Saucony baseball cap–keeps the sweat out of my eyes, and my ear warmer fits under it nicely. Finding a hat that fits my head well is a challenge! It is a year-round staple of my running wardrobe!

  210. I love the neck gaiter/face cover/hairband thingie that looks like a long, thin tubetop that I got at the ING NYC from a cheese company. I would love more of them, however, I don’t even know what it would be called.

  211. pair of compression socks! 🙂 I love the marathon socks & sleeves as well as the low trainers from ProCompression. Happy Feet!

  213. There’s nothing that I love more than a super supportive bra. But my first hoodie would be pretty awesome too.

  214. pair of ultra light SmartWool phd running socks. I have darned my two pair to keep them lasting just a little longer. 🙂

  215. I love nothing more than an awesome pair of capris. I hate long pants (can’t stand sweaty ankles) and in a great pair, my ass looks like I already have the ass that I am running to get!

  216. A pair of tights that hug your buns, don’t slip down and show off what you have worked so hard to achieve!

  217. Freakin’ awesome, engineered to the hilt, snug as a wetsuit, bright as a tree frog sports bra. Cannot live, function, run or avoid collisions without it.

  218. As far as running, there is nothing nicer than a great pair of compression running bottoms that keep all the ‘jigglies’ together!
