This 19-song mix, created in collaboration with our longtime pals at the app RockMyRun (the smartphone app that serves up 1,000s of DJ mixes), is designed to fire up your feet in a 5K race. And it’s also an homage to moms: Every song incorporates some version of the word “mother” in the title, the artist, or the lyrics.
We hope you’ll take this station for a spin this weekend (bonus points if you listen during a Mother’s Day 5K!). It clocks in at about 45 minutes, with songs by Beyoncé, The Black Eyed Peas, ABBA, Meghan Trainor, and more.
If you are new to RockMyRun, here’s step-by-step instructions to get this mother-licious playlist:
1. Open or download RockMyRun app on your smartphone.
2. Log in, or create a free account if you don't have one.
3. Head to the home page, where you will see the Mother's Day 5K Mix under Latest Stations. (Search for it if you don't see it!)
4. Enjoy + rock your Mother's Day Run!
