ONE: Download the five-week plan. Here it is as a PDF. (Note: there a number of helpful links in the plan, but you must open it in Adobe Reader in order to see them. You will not see them if you simply look at the plan on the website. If you don't have Adobe Reader, you can download it here for free.)
TWO: Join the private Strava Stride through the Holidays Club.
To remind you, Strava is a free GPS app for your smartphone that logs your runs; if you don't have it, you can download the app here. Once you've completed a run, you can save it, name it, and your fellow Challengers can give you kudos and comments—it's a surprisingly rewarding process. (And if you're concerned about your privacy, there are loads of options: Check them out here.)
THREE: Get ready to join the private Facebook page. We need to invite you via email to join the private page, and we'll do so within a day of your registration.
FOUR: Grab a tax receipt from Heart Strides if you need one. Email [email protected] and Denise Dollar, founder of Heart Strides, will hook you up.
FIVE: Get ready to get this party started—and rockin' for five continuous weeks—on Monday, November 9. Many happy miles until then!
