MEET THE AMR TEAM
Sarah and Dimity are the OGs of Another Mother Runner, but this community would not have grown to be what it is today without the help from a few friends. Curious who is part of this great organization and why they started running, what their favorite pick-me-up song is, and who their dream partner would be? Keep reading!

Why did you start running? As a cross-training tool when I joined the Colgate University rowing team freshman year (the same crew that, six years later, Dimity joined!).
If you could run a race with an elite athlete, celebrity, or another famous person, who would it be? Taylor Swift: I wouldn’t have to look her in the face while talking to her (I’d be far too starstruck!) — and when my energy lags, she can sing!

Why did you start running? When I didn’t make the cheerleading team in 9th grade, my mom encouraged me to join cross country (because, you know, they don’t make cuts). I reluctantly went to the first practice and grumbled my way through my freshman season, but eventually learned to love it and continued to compete through college and later as a #motherrunner.
If you could run a race with an elite athlete, celebrity, or another famous person, who would it be? Athing Mu. But it would have to be a longer race than 800 meters so we could actually chat.
