With mere hours to the start of Boston Marathon, listen as Sarah and Dimity talk with Tish Hamilton, executive editor of Runner’s World and mother of one, who is about to run her 10th Boston (and 42nd marathon!). The gals gab like the longtime pals they are, about everything from Tish “squeaking” out yet another Boston-qualifying time to her fitting in runs as a solo parent. The ladies all admit they’re not willing to give up wine and ice cream to get faster. And Tish lets Sarah break a rough revelation to dear (read: hopelessly naïve) Dimity.

I loved this podcast. My BFF, who is also my BRF, and I are training for Cleveland Half with the AMR Half OWN it plan. Just this week I started thinking about trying to drop a few pounds before May 19th and just like Sarah that thought quickly evaporated when I tried to put some structure behind it. Thanks ladies. My BRF and I are really loving the training plan it’s amazing how those long runs actually get easier. This is my 4th half, my friend’s 5th (and she has also completed a marathon) and although the training felt like a lot more than we’ve done in the past we knew we would have to do something different to PR in Cleveland. Our goal is sub 2:30, I’m feeling pretty confident.
You do great work. You should be proud.
