This mom of three and beginning-again runner quickly dubs this show about “the fallout of running,” addressing TMI topics like vaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence, and risk of infection from hanging out in sweaty workout wear. The good doctor also talks about running during pregnancy. The show’s highlight, though, is Dimity over-sharing about her shaving habits. I had a 24 hour shift today and this podcast and the Portland Running Company podcast got me thru the rough patches, typically 3-4 am. I’m on the 13.FUN run walk program. These podcasts kept me motivated to run after my shift. Hey if Paula can keep running thru Diarrhea, I can gut out 35 minutes. I felt horrible and AWESOME, all at the same time. Thank you for keeping me wanting to push myself thru every day, whether I’m running or not.
