With big fall races happening every weekend, Dimity and Sarah suspect mother runners have been reflecting (read: obsessing) on their race goals.
Listen as the ladies reflect on their own personal goals—those met and those unmet (ouch!)—and share the wisdom of setting multiple goals. Along the way, hear the gals struggle with math computations and pronoun agreement.

Just downloaded this, what perfect timing, I have a half tomorrow!
Oh, have I ever…
Great podcast for the drive in to work this morning. I’m rethinking my race goals because of my injury, so the timing of this is sadly perfect. Goal #1 – get my butt to the starting line #2 – get my butt across the finish line #3 have a healthy body when all is said and done. I’d love to meet all those goals, but I’m learning to be OK with the fact that my #3 goal might be good enough for now. So, this St. Pauli girl found this podcast especially meaningful!
Thanks!
I listened to your podcast for the first time towards end of my run this morning. Thanks for helping me push through my first 5 mile run!
Great podcast on my morning run. It definitely gave me a new perspective. I have been trying to break 2 hours on a 1/2 marathon I train for every year and I continue to miss it by just minutes….and even just under a minute last March. I always beat myself up every year after it’s over instead of expressing gratitude. I’m thankful for my healthy family and ability to run and live in this beautiful beach town. I know one of these years I’ll break the 2 hour mark. Thanks for the inspiration! Enjoying your book too. Looking forward to the next one
