Words can’t express the love and spirit showcased this weekend by members of the Another Mother Runner community so we’re going to let a handful of images + captions from our anniversary Facebook page do the talking. And Dimity and I say thank you all from the very depths of our hearts.

Happy 15 years AMR! This community has enriched my life in so many ways. Today I did 3 miles on the trails in SE Michigan with my local Trail Sisters group. Years ago, when I mentioned in the Many Happy Miles group that I wanted to try trail running, another local BAMR connected me with this group. Just one of the many friendships and experiences that being a part of AMR has gifted me. Here’s to many more years and many more happy miles! 💜💙🩷 —Kim

Happy 15th AMR!!! In true BAMR fashion, my miles today were around the campus where my daughter is doing volleyball tryouts! Get those miles in where and when you can!! 🩵🩷💙💜 —Julie

Happy 15th to my favorite community! Our Philly run was canceled due to weather so I took it inside to burn bootcamp for core conditioning where we ran laps between sets so I got my run in anyway LOL. —Brandi (a guest on last Friday’s anniversary podcast)

10 miles with this crew! Happy 15-year anniversary AMR. Some of the best women I know and best memories are with AMR. I appreciate you all so much. —Erin (on the left)

Happy 15th Anniversary, AMR! Since 2014, I’ve been a loyal reader (bought all three books) and an avid listener (every episode of every podcast iteration, I’m sure). I’ve loved the challenges, from the Prove It! 10K to 13.FUN to Love the Run. Last year’s Better Together at the Richmond Marathon was a fantastic milestone, marking a decade with AMR. I’m so grateful for all the connections, lessons, inspirations, and friendships. THANK YOU, and here’s to many more AMR adventures! —Brenda

Happy 15th Anniversary AMR! I got in 4 miles in MN lakes country. I can’t even begin to express what this community means to me. I’ve made some of my dearest friends, been on some of the most enjoyable retreat adventures, and read some of my favorite books based on recommendations from Miles of Books and AMR friends’ posts. The biggest gift, however, has been the outpouring of love and support since the loss of my husband in 2022.  Women who I have never met have sent cards, love, words of support, and donations to my AFSP fundraisers. In a world that can be isolating, you all have made me feel like I am never alone.  Thank you SO MUCH for creating this community! —Stacy

Timberline half marathon trail run with my new BAMR friend, Sherri. We each logged 14.46 trail miles in the 80+ degree heat🥵 I feel we earned extra credit🤣 It was pushing 90s when I finished. —Sandy (on the right. Bonus points for hand gesture of 1-5 + both wearing badass hats!)

Happy 15th AMR! Doing what I can! —Heather (yes, you are! And more bonus points—for stick-art of “15”)

My daughter Abby and I ran the Utah Valley Marathon today! I am slowing down and she is speeding up. Although I don’t contribute as much as I used to, I am so grateful for the AMR community. Happy anniversary, AMR. —Katie (Dimity’s 2018 SwimRun partner)

Went out for my AMR 15th anniversary activity. Thought I was going to out there on my own but when I was just about pulling into the park, I got a message that made me so happy: Annette let me know she was on her way and would be there! This made it so much better. We talked about run/walking it, did one short run but then ended up just walking and talking the whole time! I wouldn’t change it at all. I had great company and even though I had my headphones, I didn’t turn on anything. It was great meeting IRL, and I can see us meeting up again in the future. —Amanda

I pushed our daughter Maya in the Unified 5K this morning, and she got third place in her category!  Super-proud mama moment, and we dedicate this race to AMR’s anniversary! —Anna (one of the women SBS thanked in last Friday’s post)

Dancing and AMR’ing this morning to the “Take Us Back to 2010” Spotify playlist! 4 miles complete! —Bobbie (here’s the playlist in Apple Music)

Got in a 7-mile run, about 3 miles of walking with my pup (over two walks), and some time spent climbing. Happy anniversary, AMR!!! You’ve supported me through all of my running years, and I am so grateful! I’m kind of a loner so having virtual support allows me to have some time alone while also being lifted up by a wonderful community. —MaryJo

Did a 20-mile run as my AMR 15th Anniversary event! —Lynn (lovin’ the understandably sweaty camera lens!)

Five sweaty badass miles between a pickleball tournament and two grad parties. Let’s celebrate! —Stacey (we agree!)
