We all have our favorites.
You close your eyes and you can immediately picture that route that feels as comfortable—and comforting—as your end-of-day sweats. You intimately know the mileage, the turns, the smells, the potholes, the dog that yips through the fence.
You might curse its hills, but you love them all the same. After all, they are part of you. Part of the place where you lay your treads and, along the way, open your heart and feel alive.
We asked some AMR staffers where they call their running homes. Check them out, and let us know in the comments below where your running home is.

Without a doubt, the best one is number 1. Coach Liz has it the best! And I was just thinking that I wish I had a video of Brenda’s yoga; my hips felt great after her yoga session. I can’t wait to do it at home.
My favorite place to run is the Cape Cod Rail Trail (I start at the lot in Dennisport, MA). Just thinking about it puts a sweet smile on my face and in my heart!!
YESS!! Definitely San Francisco and that bridge!!! The weather is always a wonderful break from the Central Valley heat and you just can’t beat the views!!
