While we love a good scroll through a review section both for entertainment and should-I-buy details, we also know the absolute best recommendations for clothing, TV shows, desserts, books, and the like usually come from friends.
So we’re introducing a new column this year which is, simply, Our Favorite Things. We’ll switch the focus monthly; the idea is to scroll through a few of the favorites we’ve gathered from the AMR Team, and then add your own in the comments below.
Whoever invented the energy bar—Mrs. Nature Valley?—is a genius. They slide easily into a pocket, a purse, a hydration pack, or a gym bag and keep your energy high and the hangries at bay—and leave only a wrapper in their wake. Here are some of our favorite energy bars.
Aloha Peanut Butter Cup Protein Bar
I try to eat plant-based whenever possible, so these are a nice on-the-go option. They’re decadent and yummy and don’t upset my stomach like some other bars have a tendency to do. They’re not cheap, but that’s actually better for me so that I only eat one when I really need to.
