My sweet friend and next-door neighbor lost her mom to Covid during the shutdown days. Heartbroken for her, and unable to hug her, I whipped up a “hug” from a vintage quilt and tossed it over her fence—and the rest is…still being written!

I always wear a ball cap while running, so I began making quilted heart-patch caps. They’re my number-one seller and are so fun to give as gifts—each is one-of-a-kind!

When I repurpose a textile, I try to use every scrap; there are a million decisions in each color combo and tiny hand stitch, and I want to preserve that amazingness and recirculate it into the world! That led me to the smaller projects like heart-patch caps and hand-sewn greeting cards with my favorite mantras that come to me on long runs.

I create one-of-a-kind items with custom embroidery. Using old baby onesies, I am able to customize sweatshirts for all the important people: Mama, Dad, Nana, Gigi, etc. I also stitch custom logos and designs on hats, tote bags, blankets, tea towels, or anything else that is flat. 

I bought my embroidery machine to create things for my children and fell in love with the craft along the way.

I’m a designer, illustrator, Etsy shop owner, and mother of 3. I find great joy in creating beautiful, colorful art in the margins of motherhood, so in 2020 when the world shut down and felt a little hopeless I started creating and selling digital art prints from my shop with the aim to encourage and uplift others. My work primarily features illustrations with vivid, cheerful colors and focuses on botanicals, cities, and travel in a variety of digital and physical prints. Something new I recently started offering are custom silhouette portraits and custom house portraits—I love creating meaningful, intentional art that will become a part of someone’s home for years to come.
