Sarah and Dimity never dreamt they’d reach this milestone (that Dimity aptly likens to a 100-mile ultra-marathon) but here they are: episode number 100 of their running podcast! To mark the occasion, the gals revisit some of their favorite segments of past shows, then riff on them a bit. Highlights include: Runner’s World Bart Yasso reminding us all to, “never take a finish line for granted; pro runner (and new mom) Lauren Fleshman beautifully telling us to be open to success and to dwell on positivity; and Sarah instructing Dimity to own her athletic efforts. Laughter also abounds in this episode, from anecdotes old and new of “free balling” and Dimity’s “God Bless Central Park South!” exclamation from her first marathon. And, pssst, find out a few running-related items Dimity keeps in her special wooden memory box.

Thank you both for making this mom giggle while knocking out 14 miles on the mill very, very early this am. Congratulations on #100!!!!
You girls really are just the best. Your podcasts have made marathon training lots of fun. :)
Congratulations on #100! Your podcasts are funny, informative and very motivational. I think there should be a t-shirt that says “Never take a finish line for granted” .
Congrats! Loving every moment.
I love you ladies, and love that mother runner Kim suggested my question make the 100th episode! I’m running for me, trying to remember that it isn’t a comparison sport, that I run with my different-sized friends. My next goal is a tri-a-tri, since I’m down 20lbs and I leaned to swim this year, and you’re right, Dimity, I’ve noticed in my training log I’m getting faster too! Slowly I will get faster….
Great podcasts. Perfect choices of snippets from previous episodes. Those were among my favorites!
Congrats ladies… Fun to hear you both on your 100th… Feeling I should go back to the first …hugs to you both!
Thank you so much for this! I laughed and cried with you wile listening to this on a road trip! I was amazed by how I could remember where I was running while I had originally listed to many of these clips!
I have JUST got back from a long training run, and the first run ever where I listened to a podcast instead of music. I’m a bit injured, so I wasn’t looking forward to a 16km shuffle at snail pace. I headed for the back lots and deserted industrial roads. I was having a pretty nice time, shuffling and smiling at your best-of show until I got to the bit about ‘how do they dress the mice’… I lost it, started laughing out loud till I cried.
Thanks for an awesome run!
