I just wanted to chime in on the need to pee while running – I”m a 63 year old runner who has dealt with incontinence issues while running for many years. I worked with a pelvic floor therapist who was WONDERFUL and where I learned about the many foods that stimulate that urge to pee (anything acidic, chocolate, etc.), along with some great exercises to strengthen the right muscles. But my tried and true prevention of leakage on the run is a menstrual cup. It works similar to a pessary in supporting the bladder just enough to prevent leakage, but (for me) is much more comfortable. You may have to try a few different sizes to find the best fit. I recently stumbled onto a brand of disposable menstrual cups that work better than anything I had before. Hope this helps someone out there who’s struggling with running incontinence!
